Polish graphic designer and animator. He studied architecture in Poland and lived in France and Germany. He collaborated with renowned director Walerian Borowczyk, and they made their debut together at the EXPO 1958 exhibition in Brussels. He was part of the success of Polish film posters in the 1960s and designed posters for the 1972 Munich Olympics and for Roman Polanski’s films. He became the first professor of animation at the University of Kassel and later taught poster and graphic design in Berlin. He has received numerous awards for animated films and posters, including at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 1962.
