Hanspeter Schmid

 

Swiss illustrator of children's books and professional goldsmith. After training as a goldsmith, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In addition to creating high-end jewelry, he also devoted himself to children's books in collaboration with the Bohem Press publishing house. As an illustrator, he became famous primarily for his anti-war children's book about two snowmen called Besenmann und Brillenman. His works have been exhibited at several prestigious international exhibitions.
